News 21/12/2018 The conference took place at the end of the 5-year Recognition and Appreciation Forum organized by the Addis Ababa City Council.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ms. Buzena Alkhedr, who gave the welcome speech at the forum, said that our city has carried out developments that boost its international competitiveness with the involvement of its residents, and in doing so, it has benefited the people in a sustainable way. She added that in recent years, thanks to the strong monitoring and oversight of the Standing Committee, the executive bodies have been able to meet their legal responsibilities, ensure the budget is used as intended, and make sure services are delivered effectively.

Finally, the Standing Committees and Accountable Institutions were recognized and appreciated for their strong performance.
