President's Message
*****
As we celebrate this historic anniversary, I would like to congratulate all of you.
The victory of Adwa is a great victory for freedom and glory achieved by our fathers and mothers. This victory is historic proof that the Ethiopian people can stand together to uphold justice and freedom.
We, the court leaders and professionals, are called upon to apply the spirit of Adwa — the spirit of justice, equality, unity and responsibility — to our work. Justice is the foundation of a nation, and it is only maintained when the rule of law is upheld. When the king went to the Adwa Army, alongside the army of Jimma Abajifar, the army of King Kao Tona, the army of the King of Wolga, the army of the Dejazmach of God, and the army of Benishangul-Dejazmach Woute, among the key secrets that led to victory were deep patriotism, management and use of information, perseverance and determination, unity and trust, and high women's participation, among others.
The results of the Adwa War included breaking the narrative of white supremacy, accelerating the African liberation struggle, establishing Ethiopia as a symbol of freedom, and nullifying the Foreign Agreement. The heroes of Adwa have shown us that we, the children of Ethiopia, must learn from the Adwa war about deep patriotism, unity, perseverance, leadership skills, information management and wisdom, women's leadership skills, and devotion to the country. Remembering the values they taught us on this Victory Day, we will work together to uphold justice with fairness.
May the glory of the brave men of Adwa live forever.
May our country live in peace and justice.
On this victory day, let us work together to deliver justice with quality and impartiality, remembering the values of sacrifice and loyalty that the heroes of Adwa taught us.
May the glory of the brave men of Adwa live forever.
Let our Ethiopia stand firm in justice and peace.
You've got a chance to win the Champions League!
